Solitary
On my travels to photograph the Challis herd in Idaho, where I love to visit in winter, I pass through one of the coldest places in the United States. It happened to be -25F degrees below zero this day and stunningly beautiful as I drove along the Salmon River with its steam rising creating hoar frost on the trees. Elk were resting along the river where they feed blanketed in frost with steam from the river rising behind them.
Bring a little wildness into your home! My work is created to share the wild lands and wild horses with you to spark a conversation about the need to protect them and their habitat. Prints are on 100% cotton rag archival heavyweight museum grade paper with 1 “ white border surrounding the image.
