In this portfolio I strive to capture the essence of horses. Many images use natural barnlight to accentuate the horses’ inherent beauty. The soft natural light noy only highlights their physical form but also brings out their inner strength and grace. It’s a technique that aims to evoke a sense of closeness, inviting viewers to feel the same awe and respect that I do when I’m behind the lens. I personally have a deep connection to horses that informs my work.

I believe there is a profound connection. between horses and humans, one that transcends words and is best understood through moments of observation and contemplation. Whether it’s the peaceful gaze of a horse at rest of the powerful stride of one in motion, the beauty of their physical shape, I aim to convey the essence of their being and invite viewers to tap in to that connection.
