Lipton gallery has an eye for earth Gallery’s final show to feature pottery, nature photography

Photographer Tori Gagne’s series of horse photographs will be on display at Lipton Fine Arts in Ketchum as part of the gallery’s last show before it closes sometime in 2018.

Lipton Fine Arts gallery at 411 Leadville Ave. in Ketchum will exhibit an eye toward earth in its holiday shows.

The gallery will commemorate the American Arts and Crafts Movement with an exhibition from gallery owners Melissa and Gary Lipton’s personal collection of American Art Pottery created between 1898 to 1926, comprising an assortment of Rookwood Pottery (1880-1940), Roycroft Art Metal (1895-1938), Fulper Art Pottery (1909-1929), Grueby Pottery (1897-1909), Dirk van Erp works (1860-1933), Teco Pottery (1881-1923) and more.

Opening on Friday, Dec. 1, this show also will be the final exhibition at the gallery on Fourth Street in Ketchum, which has announced a plan to close sometime next year.
